Baseball Secures 16 Newcomers To 2025 Signing Class

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida baseball is excited to announce the additions of freshmen Jonathan Acosta, Austin Stratmann, Dario Romeo, Devin Diggs, Beau Rurey, Jeremiah Stewart and Drew Buchanan to the Ospreys' 2025 signing class.

Additionally, North Florida head coach Joe Mercadante announced the signings of nine transfer student-athletes to its '25 class – Gialdri Gomez, Dakota Stone, Boone Hosey, Tyler Kozera, Jackson Toberman, Andrew Elkhill, Mathew Farner, Ed Wagner and Jackson Schrafft.

"We are very excited to welcome this new group to the UNF baseball family," Mercadante said. "Our coaching staff, led by Coach Wilkerson, did a tremendous job of identifying and recruiting this group of high school and transfer student-athletes. There are very talented players in this group, and they will all make our clubhouse better from day one. They value the UNF experience, will all be great representatives of UNF and are hungry to help us go compete for an ASUN Championship. We are excited to get to work with our first official team practice on Sept. 25."
