
North Florida Athletics Eclipses Record-Setting Year in Fundraising and Revenue Generation

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Athletics announced it eclipsed another record-setting year in fundraising and revenue generation behind the effort and support of its Osprey Club, Development staff, programs and more.
"I'm incredibly grateful to the thousands of donors who stepped up and supported North Florida Athletics this past fiscal year," Director of Athletics Nick Morrow said. "Engagement is at an all-time high, and the energy surrounding our programs is truly inspiring. A strong donor base and sustained philanthropic support are essential to achieving consistent, high-level success across all our programs. This record-setting achievement reflects the growing momentum behind North Florida Athletics and our unwavering commitment to excellence—both on the field and in the classroom. I'm confident that even more record-breaking years lie ahead for North Florida."
The record-setting year for North Florida Athletics was highlighted by unprecedented donor support, academic achievements, strategic facility enhancements and athletic success across many sports. In addition to record fundraising efforts, the department made significant strides in revenue generation, fan experience and other areas – all reinforcing the commitment to providing an elevated world-class experience for its student-athletes in the new era of college athletics.

On the facilities front, the Texana Bank Suite continued to thrive in its third year, providing a premium hospitality experience for basketball fans with a record average of 160 guests per game over 15 home games. The Texana Bank Suite remains a vital year-round revenue source for North Florida Athletics through hosted events and premium access.

North Florida Athletics were once more highlighted by academic success in 2024-25, as it earned the ASUN Conference President's Cup in back-to-back years and the highest overall APR with 299 student-athletes on the 2024 ASUN Academic Honor Roll. The awards continued with 44 CSC Academic All-District selection and 24 ASUN All-Academic honorees. Track and field's Smilla Kolbe, softball's Allison Benning and women's soccer's Zara Siassi all earned 2024 CSC Academic All-American distinction with men's tennis Andreas Scott joining Benning and Kolbe with 2024 ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year distinction.

The record-setting year for North Florida Athletics was highlighted by unprecedented donor support, academic achievements, strategic facility enhancements and athletic success across many sports. In addition to record fundraising efforts, the department made significant strides in revenue generation, fan experience and other areas – all reinforcing the commitment to providing an elevated world-class experience for its student-athletes in the new era of college athletics.

- Fundraising and revenue generation achievements were highlighted by a department-record $8,071,921 raised by 2,893 donors. The amount raised is a department record and represented an 89% percent increase from the previous record set in FY22.
- For the third consecutive fiscal year North Florida Athletics had over 2800 donors – a first in school history.Â
- North Florida also experienced another record-breaking Giving Day. For the sixth consecutive year, North Florida Athletics eclipsed a record for total dollars raised with an amount of $856, 276 behind the support of 1,810 donors on its annual Giving Day. North Florida Athletics accounted for 40 percent of the donors and 36 percent of the dollars raised with the largest collection in each mark from the overall 2025 Giving Day total of $2,407,024 and 4,513 donors. Both totals marked the University of North Florida's largest single day of fundraising. The total amount of $856,276 raised by North Florida Athletics was a $261,133.68 increase compared to 2024. For the first time on Giving Day, North Florida Athletics had a 100 percent staff participation. The total donor count was a 1,911 percent increase from 2019, in addition to a 18,279 percent increase in dollars raised from that same year.Â
- The fifth annual "904 Day" initiative continued to grow, raising $33,776 from 339 donors. This reflects a 108% increase in funds raised and a 54% increase in total donors from the inaugural 904 Day in 2020.
North Florida Athletics continued to have great success in generating revenue from external events.

- North Florida Athletics also proudly hosted our first-ever JEA Women's Athletics & STEM Scholarship Luncheon, drawing 160 attendees and grossing $69,258 in support of student-athletes.
- North Florida Athletics' eighth annual Blue & Gray Bash raised a record gross of $147,356.
- Additionally, over $950,000 was raised in sponsorship revenue.

- Upgrades turned the former "Lobby Lounge" into the new "Swoop N' Sip Lounge" — sponsored by Money Pages — enhancing hospitality for fans and corporate partners.
- The Hodges Stadium weight room and athletic training room received a significant renovation, which positively impacted the equipment, spaces and resources available to the student-athletes and staff.
- The natural grass field at Hodges Stadium was replaced with an upgraded subsurface and irrigation system.
- A new premium seating experience, known as "The Pit", was created at Harmon Stadium. The new space brought field-level seating close to the action.
- A major seven-figure renovation of UNF Arena started in May 2025 with expected completion of late September/early October 2025. The renovation is the first of its kind since UNF Arena was constructed over 30 years ago and will renovate the locker rooms for the men's basketball, women's basketball, and volleyball programs, as well as upgrade and expand the athletic training room and create a new video room.

- North Florida Athletics produced another successful athletic season in 2024-25 with three team ASUN Championship Tournament titles from men's soccer, beach volleyball and softball, to help them reach the highest finish in program history for Learfield Directors' Cup.
- Another first-time occurrence was the women's programs producing three All-American athletes with Smilla Kolbe, Allison Benning and Zara Siassi earning top honors, which more than double the total female All-Americans in D-I program history.
- Andreas Scott joined Benning and Kolbe with ASUN Player of the Year honors to go along with 72 total ASUN All-Conference honorees and 16 ASUN All-Freshman selections.
- Other ASUN superlatives include Benning as ASUN Softball Pitcher of the Year, Siassi as ASUN Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year and Scott teaming up with Bruno Vietri for ASUN Men's Tennis Doubles Pair of the Year.
- Benning was also selected as the Atlantic Sun Conference's representative for NCAA Woman of the Year.
- Head men's soccer coach Jamie Davies and head softball coach Jeff Conrad also earned their first-career ASUN Coach of the Year honors.
