UNF sophomore midfielder Martin Schuhte got the Ospreys on the scoreboard in the 12th minute of the match when he converted Ryan Brennan pass into the game-tying goal. For Schuhte the goal was his second of the season.
UNF took the lead with just over seven minutes remaining in the first half, when sophomore forward Martin Pettersson beat Lipscomb goalkeeper J.D. Murphy for the game-winner. UNF goalkeeper Kyle Callahan assisted on the goal.
The Ospreys added their final game of the match at the 38:49 mark of the match when Mats Elmsater tallied his first goal of the season. Schuhte recorded the assists.
The Bisons (3-7-1, 1-4-0 A-Sun) made a late charge adding a goal at the 68:19 mark of the match when Micah Johnson redirected a Page pass past Callahan, but rally proved to be too little too late as UNF held on for its first road win of the season despite being outshot 23-7.
Elmsater led the offensive charge for UNF with seven shots, including four shots on goal.
Callahan tallied seven saves to earn his first collegiate win.
