Josh Baker was named an Assistant Director of Athletic Development in January 2020. He was promoted to his current role as assistant athletic director of development in December of 2022.

A graduate and former Osprey Athletics employee, Baker returned to UNF after serving as the Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement at UNC Asheville.

Baker served as the Assistant Director of Athletic Marketing for the Ospreys upon his graduation in 2010 through 2016. He then had stints as Director of Athletic Marketing at Western Carolina and Director of Athletic Marketing and Fan Experience at Kennesaw State.

Serving as student activities liaison to UNF Athletics during the 2011-12 season, Baker helped to develop and grow the Osprey Nation brand. He also gained experience as an arena operations assistant with the Orlando Magic (2010-11) and as a student manager for the UNF Basketball program (2007-10).

Baker is a native of Longwood, Fla.
