Beach Sweeps Jacksonville in ASUN Action

JACKSONVILLEÂ - North Florida beach volleyball swept Jacksonville to pick up two ASUN wins and two River City Rumble points on Friday afternoon at Dolphin Beach.Â

BEACH BULLETS
- Senior Lauren Gainer and sophomore Chaney Howard clinched both matches with two set victories in the No. 3 spot.
- The duo of senior Shannon McPherson and sophomore Nicole DeBolt grabbed two wins in the No. 5 position to start things off for UNF in both matches.
- At the No. 1 court, Courtney Miller and Katarina Raicevic edged out the Dolphin duo in the first match in three sets. The Ospreys then came back and dominated in the second dual, 21-19, 21-9.
- After dropping their first dual, Brittany Pase and Gabby O'Connell came back in the second match to take down the Dolphins in three sets.
- The sweep of the Dolphins is the fourth in program history and second straight for UNF.
