Women’s Soccer Unveils Six-Game Spring Slate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Women's Soccer Head Coach Robin Confer and her club will play six games, including four at Hodges Stadium this spring. The Ospreys will begin their spring docket on Sunday, Feb. 19 when they visit Gainesville to take on Florida at 6:00 p.m.
North Florida will host four spring matches beginning with a bout against Georgia on Sunday Feb. 26. Prior to taking over the North Florida program, Confer spent nine seasons with the Bulldogs as an assistant coach. At the conclusion of the contest, the Jacksonville will stick around to take on Georgia at Hodges Stadium
"We are a relatively young team this spring and our goal was to put together a challenging schedule to give a lot of players some high level game experience," said Confer. "I'm pleased with the energy level so far and am excited to see the team develop this spring."
After squaring off against Armstrong State on Saturday March 4th, the Ospreys will host a doubleheader with matches against Flagler (noon) and Nova Southeastern (3:30 p.m.). The spring will conclude with a road match against UCF on Saturday, April 8.
Admission to all home contests are free and open to the public.
