Men's Cross Country Sprints into South Region Top 10 Ranking

NEW ORLEANS -- After earning the program's first ASUN Conference title last weekend, the North Florida men's cross country team was ranked 8th in the South Region of the USTFCCCA.
The Ospreys rose six spots in the rankings following their impressive championship-winning effort. UNF will next compete in the NCAA South Regional Championship on Nov. 11 in Tallahassee, Fla.
"The success of the men's race at the ASUN meet has yielded an 8th place regional ranking," said head coach Jeff Pigg. "It is good to see them recognized for their hard work and effort. We race the regional championships in a couple weeks and have hopes of finishing even higher in that event. It great to have momentum and confidence late in the season."
