No. 62 Men's Tennis Heads South to Face No. 55 USF

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The University of North Florida men's tennis team will run up against its fourth ranked opponent in five matches on Friday afternoon as they head to Tampa, Fla. to face No. 55 USF.
The 1-3 Ospreys, who sit 62nd in the ITA National Team Rankings for the second consecutive week, have played just one team outside the top 60 nationally, defeating unranked William & Mary last Friday.
The No. 55 Bulls, like UNF, have earned their ranking by way of their depth. Just one of the USF single players, Federico Sabogal at No. 105, is mentioned in the most recent ITA National Singles Rankings, while none of the Bulls' doubles pairs are ranked.
USF started their 2013 season with a pair of home wins over Florida Atlantic and St. John's, before dropping matches on the road to No. 57 BYU and No. 24 LSU.
The Ospreys will go to battle with a sprinkling of ranked players, as senior Moritz Buerchner still checks in at No. 72 in the most recent singles rankings, while also pairing with sophomore Norbert Nemcsek to form the No. 20 doubles team in the country.
