Frazier Captures Final Weekly A-Sun Honors

MACON, Ga. -- Sophomore Brianna Frazier of the University of North Florida track and field team captured the season's final Atlantic Sun Women's Track Performer of the Week award, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
Frazier claimed the award after her performance in the 200m at the Georgia Tech Invitational this weekend. Her time of 22.56, good for fifth place, broke her own UNF record and is the fastest time recorded in the A-Sun this year by .25 seconds. It is also the 53rd-ranked time in the nation this year.
This week marks the third time this season that Frazier has earned the weekly conference accolades.
Frazier will join a group of UNF athletes that will be competing in the NCAA East Region Preliminary Round, taking place at Hodges Stadium on May 24-26.
