MACON, Ga. -- Sophomore Brianna Frazier was named the Most Outstanding Track Performer at the 2012 Atlantic Sun Conference Track & Field Championship, as voted on by the league coaches and announced by the conference on Thursday.
Frazier, last year's Most Outstanding Freshman Performer, earned the award after grabbing three gold medals at this weekend's A-Sun Championships.
Her time of 23.66 in the 200m and 53.83 in the 400m are each the fourth-fastest in the history of the meet. She also ran the anchor leg of the 4x400m relay team that took first place in a time of 3:43.47. That time was the fifth-best in meet history. Frazier also took fifth place in the triple jump.
The UNF track and field teams will be back in action on May 4-5 as they travel to Tallahassee, Fla. to compete in the Seminole Twilight Meet.
