JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Please join us at the Derek Marinatos Soccer Academy, with its professionally licensed coaching staff, first class fields and campus facilities, providing an exciting learning experience for all-round soccer skills development.
Under the direction of new Head Soccer Coach Derek Marinatos, the University of North Florida Men's Soccer Program aims to establish itself as one of the top Division I programs in Florida and the nation. Consistent with this goal, the Derek Marinatos Soccer Academy will service the demand for professionally run Boys Soccer Camps in Northeast Florida by professionally licensed coaches. Coach Marinatos is a USSF "A" licensed coach, U.S. National Team Scout, Region III ODP staff coach, and founder of Derek Marinatos Soccer Academy "DMSA."
DMSA will foster an invaluable learning experience for each camper under the instruction and coaching of college, U.S. National Staff, ODP, club and high school coaches, and current players. This camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
DMSA Residential Elite Academy
Friday, June 29 – Sunday, July 1
Boys ages 15-18
Residential Tuition: $375
Commuter Tuition: $315
The DMSA Residential Elite Academy is intended for High School players ages 15-18. The Academy will be conducted by College Coaches as well as Nationally Licensed Coaches. The highest level of advanced tactical, technical and fitness training will be coached during the day and will simulate College training. Campers will experience extremely competitive games at night. It is a highly competitive camp for the serious soccer player aspiring to play at the next level or further those who are already there.
DMSA Boys Residential Team Academy
Monday, July 9 – Thursday July, 12
Boys ages 10-18
Residential Tuition: $450
Commuter Tuition: $370
The DMSA Boys Residential Team Academy will provide the opportunity for club and high school teams to be trained by the North Florida coaching staff as well as other highly qualified college and club coaches. The objective is to prepare teams for their upcoming season through team tactics, team building, small group work and offensive and defensive shapes. This academy will foster a competitive edge in providing a solid framework for teams as they enter the new season. Campers will also benefit from a College Recruiting Seminar.
DMSA Goalkeeper Training Academy
Monday, July 16 – Thursday, July 19
Boys & Girls ages 12-18
Tuition: $170
The mission of this four day academy is to technically develop goalkeepers to become more proficient at their defensive and offensive roles on the field. Goalkeepers will receive daily intense specialized training to mature technically, but also tactically in their position. Each evening will consist of technical training and end with a competitive game.
DMSA Boys Day Academy
Monday, June 11 – Friday, June 15 | Monday, July 23 – Friday, July 27
Boys ages 6-12
Tuition: $235 per week (A pizza lunch will be included)
The DMSA Boys Day Academy is specifically designed to teach skills, tactics, and fundamentals of soccer. This will be accomplished by individual instruction by our highly qualified coaching staff and age-specific curriculum. The environment will emphasize fun. Every camper will receive a free DMSA Awesome Osprey camp T-shirt and ball.
Academy discounts will be given to the following groups:
– UNF Alumni or Staff will receive 10% off tuition
– Groups of six (6) or more registering for the DMSA Boys Day Academy will receive 10% off tuition
– Families registering two (2) or more campers will receive 10% off tuition
