Men's Tennis Inks Goldberg for 2013-14

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- University of North Florida head men's tennis coach Adam Schaechterle has announced the signing of Zach Goldberg of Gainesville High School to a national letter-of-intent to begin play for the Ospreys in the fall of 2013.
Hailing from Newberry, Fla., Goldberg is rated as a four-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net. The site also listed the senior as a top-100 prospect in their national rankings earlier this year.
"Zach comes from a wonderful family and has the foundation of character we look for in a recruit. He's a natural ball-striker that chose our program because he is committed to taking his game to the next level," Schaechterle said. "He also has the chip on his shoulder that our team is known for; he's absolutely not going to back down against the best competition in the country."
Goldberg will be joining a UNF squad that is expected to fare well during the 2013 season. The Ospreys will open their spring campaign on January 25, when they travel to Charlottesville, Va. to face off with Virginia in the ITA Kick-Off Weeken
