No. 71 Men's Tennis Takes on Georgia Southern on Saturday

STATESBORO, Ga. – After nearly two weeks since its last match, No. 71 University of North Florida men's tennis is back in action this weekend as the Ospreys travel to Georgia Southern for a 1 p.m., match on Saturday.
Playing two nationally-ranked teams, the Ospreys opened the 2012 dual match season with a 1-1 record. UNF fell to then-No. 44 Florida State to start the season, but rebounded with a victory against then-No. 71 Radford. UNF's team performance during its opening weekend allowed the Ospreys to rise to No. 71 in the Campbell/ITA College Tennis Rankings after being ranked No. 74 in the preseason.
For Georgia Southern, it is the Eagles' opening weekend for the spring season with two matches in as many days. The Eagles, who renovated the Hanner Tennis Complex and first played on their new courts on Friday, have Atlantic Sun opponents scheduled for three of their first four matches. This weekend will also be the Eagles' last two home matches before embarking on a five-match road streak.
