2012 Athletic Walk-On Tryouts Announced

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- There will be a mandatory meeting for any UNF students interested in trying out for an athletic team in Spring 2012. The meeting will be held in Building 857 (the Portable behind UNF Arena) – Wednesday, January 11 at 7:30 a.m. If you do not attend this meeting you will not be permitted to tryout for a team. THERE WILL BE NO MAKEUP meeting for spring tryouts.
In order to try out you must meet the following requirements:
1. Currently enrolled full time (minimum of 12 hours) at the University of North Florida
2. Enrolled in college full time for the first time after August 2007
3. If you have been enrolled at UNF for at least 1 semester, you must have a Cumulative UNF GPA of 2.5 or higher
4. Must complete all the required medical documentation, have a physical within the last 6 months and have documented results of a sickle cell solubility test. You can obtain all necessary medical paperwork at the following link: UNF Walkon Tryouts. All forms must be printed and completed as part of this process.
