Women’s 4x400 Clocks School Record at Florida Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida women's track and field team concluded competition at the Pepsi Florida Relays on Saturday evening at Percy Beard Track, with the 4x400 meter relay squad setting a new school record.
The 4x400 meter relay squad of sophomore Jaybria Calcote, junior Kayla Conrad, junior Ava Rivera and freshman Brianna Frazier clocked a new school record time of 3:46.45 to finish 22nd. The quartet bettered the previous record, set last year, by nearly two full seconds.
The sprint medley relay team of sophomore Jasmine Jackson, Rivera, Frazier and Conrad compiled for a time of 3:57.46 to finish eighth overall.
North Florida will now have two weeks off to train and prepare for the Atlantic Sun Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships set for April 15-16. The Ospreys will play host to the championship meet at Hodges Stadium.
