JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Athletic Director Lee Moon announced that UNF volleyball head coach Kevin Campbell would not have her contract renewed for the 2012 season.
Campbell recently completed her fifth season at the helm of the Osprey program. She posted a career record of 48-104 (23-51 in the Atlantic Sun Conference) during her tenure at UNF.
During her time with the Ospreys, Campbell produced four Atlantic Sun All-Conference performers including 2009 A-Sun Freshman of the Year Paige Pridgeon. She helped develop three A-Sun All-Freshman team honorees and had 24 student-athletes garner recognition on the conference all-academic list.
She leaves a solid nucleus for the future as this year's team, which included no seniors, finished at 14-17 overall and 5-8 in the conference and earned the program's second straight appearance in the A-Sun Tournament.
A national search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
