
Dearing, Swift lead UNF over Rider

UNF participates in the Troy Tournament next weekend
UNF (2-3-1) took the lead 18 minutes into the match when Dearing put a shot from the corner past Rider goalkeeper Alex Post. The Lady Ospreys' lead at halftime stood at just one goal, but offensive action early in the second half put the game out of reach.
Swift broke away from the pack in the 54th minute and beat Post to give UNF a 2-0 lead. In the 66th minute, Dearing made a pass into the box to Swift, who scored her second goal of the game. The score was Swift's fourth of the season, while Dearing's goal and assist were her firsts of the season.
Rider (1-5-1) closed the gap in the 89th minute when Kayla Devlin rebounded a shot that hit the post and found the back of the net. The score was too little, too late, and UNF left the
