JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida baseball team is once again flexing for funds in their 13th-annual Flex-Off in an effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
The Ospreys will battle each other at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5 at UNF Arena. The event will be sponsored by Anheuser-Busch and Gold's Gym.
"Cancer affects a lot of people, and this event gives us the opportunity to help them out. It goes for a good cause, and it also gives our guys another reason to get into the weight room and stay in shape in the offseason," head coach Dusty Rhodes said.
For a $5 donation, the first 300 people to show up will get a pink t-shirt that reads "UNF Baseball" on the front and "Tough Enough To Wear Pink" on the back. Players on the team will also wear the shirt to promote cancer awareness.
The UNF Baseball Flex-Off will be shown live on ASUN.TV and will be free of charge. Fans can access the stream by going to UNFOspreys.com.
