The University of North Florida Department of Athletics announced the formation of its Athletics Hall of Fame in December 2006, opening the door for recognizing and honoring individuals, teams and community supporters that have contributed significantly to the school’s athletic program. THE PLAYERS Championship sponsored the development and construction of the permanent display area for the Hall of Fame and athletics history area, both of which are located in the UNF Arena. The display area is officially titled the UNF Athletics Hall of Fame, presented by THE PLAYERS Championship.
